About the Role:

As a Solution Engineer (Pre-Sales) at LambdaTest, you will support the sales team by assisting with software estimations, architecting solutions, and defining project scopes. You will work closely with sales and technical teams to assess customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.


Requirements

  • Excellent Communication Skills and Strong Team Player
  • Minimum 2 years of customer-facing engineering experience in Application Development/Testing space
  • Engineering Degree with knowledge of SDLC and best practices.
  • Experience in any one Programming Language is a must.
  • Knowledge of at least one of test automation frameworks(Selenium/Appium/UFT/React Native/Flutter/Kotlin)
  • Experience in Source Code management(eg: GIT), build management and CICD.
  • Good to have Knowledge of Networking and Security(TCP/IP,VPNs,Firewalls,MITM,..)
  • Ability to Solve Problems Independently within the expected time.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales in understanding the customer's pain points and pitch the product's value.
  • Partner with sales to handle all technical conversations with the customers.
  • Analyze Customers’ unique use cases and devise smarter solutions to meet their needs
  • Take complete ownership of customer trials and ensure customer success
  • Capture technical product feedback from customers and relay it to the product with relevant market insights to enhance the product
  • Help product and sales teams develop competitive intelligence



What You Should Have:

Experience: 2+ years in engineering, with 2-3 years in a pre-sales role (preferably in B2B SaaS).

Education: B.S. in Computer Science or a related field.

Technical Expertise: Familiar with SDLC, agile methodologies, and modern deployment practices.

Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to present technical solutions clearly to customers.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills for solution design and customer needs assessment.
