About the role:

As an SDET at LambdaTest, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for our cross-browser testing platform. You will work closely with software engineers and product managers to improve product quality through innovative testing methodologies. This role focuses on both manual and automated testing, creating scalable and reliable solutions.Your work will directly contribute to faster, more accurate software releases, helping LambdaTest maintain its leadership in the testing platform industry.


What You'll Do:

Develop Tools and Technical Solutions: Design and implement tools, microsites, and DevOps solutions for effective testing workflows.

Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD): Apply OOAD principles and UML methodologies to develop software solutions. Implement Core Java and J2EE design patterns efficiently.

Test Analysis and Reporting: Analyze test logs, generate test reports, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing outcomes.

Automation Expertise: Automate testing for web applications and devices using tools such as Selenium, Robotium, Appium, or similar.

Agile Development Practices: Work within Agile methodologies, with a focus on Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD). Leverage tools like GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Chef, Sonar, and PowerMock to optimize the development process.


What You Should Have:

Education and Experience: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 2-4 years of experience as a Developer or SDET.

Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively across teams and management levels, both formally and informally.

Technical Articulation: Ability to explain technical challenges and propose practical solutions to stakeholders.

Creativity and Initiative: Demonstrated creativity and initiative in expanding product coverage and enhancing testing strategies.

Team Collaboration: Strong collaborative skills, with an ability to work across various teams and departments.

Problem-Solving Ability: Comfortable working with ambiguous or undefined problems, and able to think abstractly to find innovative solutions.
